Disable field auto updating

When I change field names in the report the system automatically updates all other fields to reflect the changed name.

Example: I drag a field from my available fields list to the report area. I change the label title to something else so I can modify the actual field properties to include a space prior to the field name. When I have used the field elsewhere in the report they change to the new labeled name after I preview the report.

This is very irritating. any insight to this would be appreciated!

Switch off 'Track Name Autocorrect' in Tools>Options.

Thanks for the obvious. I am kicking myself for not looking first... I was assuming that it was a new feature that was not an option.

NICE... no more fixing what caused TONS more work!
