Disable ERS for certain users

Does anyone know how to disable the ERS access in Macola for certain users? Meaning even though the client machine has ERS installed but without proper permission, users can't do anything with ERS?

I guess my question can be better answered if anyone can confirm the following:
-The setup.exe under the InstFlex folder installed the flexibility client plus the ERS.
If so, if I only install the setup.exe under the InstVBA folder, I am only getting the full VBA version but not the ERS functionalities which is exactly what I am looking for.

Since ERS is a seperate application, you could just limit the access to the .exe file for ERS through the use of Groups or specific user rights on the network.

Thanks for the reply. The problem that I am encountering is that even though the users don't have access to the ERS on the network, they can see find the shortcut to the ERS under the Add-in menu inside Macola. Do you know a way that I can take that away for certain users based on their permission settings? Thanks.

Disable or remove the ERS addin menu item under system manager, maintain, visual menu builder, select the user, then click on the file menu and select "customize".

Those instructions may not be perfect and I am not at a Macola workstation right now to test this, but this can be disabled in VMB.
