Can anyone tell me how to disable Ctrl+Alt+Del keys when Intenet Explorer is loaded. I do not want user to access task manager

Which Operating System are you using?

If you are using NT4 or later then it is effectively impossible.

There are techniques which apply to Win 95 and 98 and are shown in thread222-842259 (amongst others)

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Indraneel -

Do a google on "MSGINA".

This is the dll that NT based Windows calls when it sees the secure attention sequence (Ctrl+Alt+Del).

There is a good whitepaper at Microsoft Technet on using a custom GINA, and there are some decent articles on MSDN on how to write one.

Not true , just generally inadvisable unless you are an OS driver writer...

As chiph says, check out the info on MSGINA

Yeah, the technet article is mainly how to recover from a defective MSGINA (got a boot disc handy?)

ooops... I though this was the VB API forum. Still not a simple undertaking (and very likely to result in dead system)

Don't forget about other keyboard handlers, such as CTRL+ALT+ESCAPE
I'm not sure whether that shortcut bypasses the GINA or not (possibly writing your own GINA would solve this, but maybe not)

Trapping CTRL+ALT+ESC is fairly trivial using a low-level keyboard hook
