Hello Everybody,

I am new to SCO!
Could someone please please help me with:
How to disable?
1. RIP on a host;
2. IP forwarding;
3. "Rusers" service;
4. Sendmail daemon on Calibre.

Thanking you in advance

Additional Information:

Its SCO 5.05.

Thanks

Disable ftp and rcmd by editing /etc/inetd.conf. Don't forget to send inetd a kill -1.

Sendmail starts from a script in /etc/rc2.d- P86sendmail or something like that. Stick an exit 0 at the top, kill any running daemons (ps -e | grep sendmail)

Set "ipforwarding" to 0 in /etc/default/inet

Disable rip by editing /etc/tcp and stopping routed from starting.; /etc/tcp stop; /etc/tcp start

Might want to take a look at also..
