How do i disable the F1 key that prompts the help index in CDE.

in your .profile or .login
/usr/openwin/bin/xmodmap -e "keycode 12 ="
to get the keycode of all kb-keys look for
'xev' in /usr/openwin, my be in 'demo'
start it, man xmodmap is also good. vox clamantis in deserto.
