Disable autosave on form after Filter

Anyone know how to disable a form from auto saving on close after running a filter.

One of the properties of a form, in newer versions of Access, controls when you can save changes: design mode only, or both design and form view. I forget what it's called, but hunt around in the properties box for the form and you should be able to find it.

Thanks for the reply but alas even with the property's changed to design view only, once my filter has run the filter stays in the property's so it still takes an age to close each form.
