disable auto expand of mailing lists in Notes 6.5.1

we have an address book on the server and has mailing lists for example "#All Staff". Now when using the "office" location on the desktop, we pickup the list and everything is fine.

However, on a laptop with a replica of the address, when we pick up the mailing list, it auto expands and shows all the users. How can i stop the list from expanding
