Disable and Enable Macros within Word

I have an issue! I wrote a macro for auto numbering a template when opened. But some how, some way the Macros in the document that I'm working on are disable. I have no idea how to turn them back on!

Any sugguestions? Thanks

Hi - have you checked your Tools / Options / General tab.
There's an option for Macro Virus Protection - If this is checked it can disable macros.

Actually, in Word 2000, it's Tools-Macro-Macro security, choose medium (which will ask if you want to enable), or low (which will auto-enable).
