I want to disable a user account and still have access to there e-mail. Is there a way to do this and if so can someone point me in the right direction.

I want the account to be diabled but still have access to their e-mails.

Choices:
Change their password
Exmerge their mailbox to a PST and then disable their account.

you haven't described your problem very well but i think this will help you. Before you disable the account you need to modify the mailbox rights in active directory. Open the user and click the exchange advanced tab, click the mailbox rights button, add the user you want to be able to access the mailbox and assign full mailbox access permissions. Now you can either reconfigure outlook to open that mailbox or modify the settings to open additional mailbox.
