I have a very old clunker K570 that is not under support since support would cost way more than the server is actually worth. The server is not a production server. We want to buy a new server to replace it but for now we have to make do.

my question, one of the four CPU's is bad, HP confirmed it, but thats all they did since they then found out it was not under contract. Is there a way to disable that CPU since HP wants close to 3K to replace it. Or should we just physically pull out the bad CPU?

thanks

Think you have to remove on the K class ... others may confirm this.
