First let me say i did perform a search and followed the instructions provided in faq702-5263

When i try to scroll the mouse wheel it is jumping me into the unbound text box i created....here lies the issue,

once the cursor has moved me into that textbox, my form locks up i and i cant edit any other fields nor can i advance using the navi buttons.

Any suggestions?

I am running access 2003

Is there no solution that does not require other files external to Access?

FAQ702-5263 does not work. At least with my version of Access - 2002 and 2003 - XP.

I also do not want to dissable scrolling, but have it work like it should - to scroll the screen in a large form - not go to the next record. Every other application that users use works that way.

Still wondering if there is an answer to this. I did get A couple things to work - Dlls and such. But they do not transfer from one computer the another without loading the dll. Not a good solution for me.

I also found this - Better Mouse Trap

This may have to do. Sure wish I could just make the mousewheel to not scroll through records and instead scroll through the current Form Window - without having to load dlls or other items not in the DB.

Sounds like Access 2007 has a solution. But most people don't have this yet.
