DISA to monitor other digital entension.

Hi,

Anybody knows how to program the DISA to monitor other digital extension inside the office?.

For example: I have dialed the DISA access number and got through with a dialtone, how can I access or program an access code for monitoring(F0033) coming from a DISA remote access to monitor a local extension? Hope you understand...

With DISA you can call stations and access trunks. You can also set Call Forwarding but cannot set features like "monitoring(F0033)"

If you loop a single line station into a trunk you can dial, via DISA, an access code for the trunk which gives you intercom dial tone. Then you can pulse the monitor code for the station you wish to listen in on.

He couldn't have put it much clearer! You need to connect an analogue extension circuit to a COT circuit. Give the analogue a number and allow all the necessary features. Give the cot all the programming required to set it up as the only cot in an exclusive outgoing route and assign an access code to that route. Then when you disa in you can access that outbound route which connects you to the extension port and you can then use all the facilities available to that extension!

Oh man thats great! it works! but again the problem occurs again because i'm connected with COT to COT therefor there's no clear down signal between them resulting COT hang-up, I have to re-seat the COT card to free again the line. Any suggestion guys? Please help me with this one.

Set 08>029>0 and then set the timer in 410>54>06.
This will pull down a trunk to trunk connection after 224 minutes. Atleast it won't be held up forever.
Will also tear down a valid trunk to trunk transfer off premise if you do that regularly.
Change the incoming trunks to Ground Start!
