Hello all, we use sv8300 were I work (multi tenant setup) and I've been asked for a way to call into the system and pickup a trunk to call back out hence DISA. I have a DID, thats used to access the system and I can call out fine, but I can not get the DID to display on the outbound caller ID. I used cmd 1212>ext>ext and 1213>ext>00(my pattern) and it does not seem to have any effect. When I do however change what I have in 5005>00>XXXXX seem to change the output on caller ID, but only on that first pattern, if I change any other pattern it does not matter. We have 2 PRIs coming in on one of our sites. I tested on more thing, and that was when I access the system I tried to call an internal extension (4 digits) and it seems to display your caller ID in other words I access the system from my cell and then call an extension on that ext my cell phone number is displayed which makes sense. We have copper trunks as well, but I opted to use the PRI instead cause I thought I could pass along the caller ID of the DID. Hope that explains what I'm trying to do, thanks for any advice, you guys are great!!

Try CMD 35143 for the PRI routes. That CMD is for ISDN to CCIS CID pass through. It may work for PRI to PRI.

Ok, I didn't see it in the system data drop down menus, under 35 its skips from 141 to 144, in the terminal however it was set to 1 35143>1, I switched it to 0 35143>0 on both pri routes. You think this may require a possible blade reset?

O forgot to mention I did do EC6 and EC8 after I changed it to update the switch.

Sorry geez, I forgot to say after I changed it, it did not pass the caller ID, that's why I was asking about the blade reset. (It might help a little if I give you all the info huh?)

Apparently the system is not capable of this, you can pass along the caller ID from where you are using DISA (ie your cell phone) cmds 35281,35282,and 35306. But you can not call in and display one of your DIDS for caller ID. If you use a DID for DISA then you will out-pulse for caller ID whatever's in 5005>00>XXXXXX, but only pattern 00 (I guess this is the default pattern). If you use copper for DISA then you'll just out-pulse the CID of your copper trunk. Thank belevedere for your quick response!!!
