Hi everyone.
I've seen a lot about DISA on here, but nothing about what I need to achieve. Can someone help me work through the details here:
I am using SIP trunking exclusively, but I kept one analog trunk for Power Fail at my house. I want to utilize my one lone Analog trunk for DISA, so that I can dial in from any outside phone and use the internal dial tone.
Here is what I want to achieve:
1- Use a SIP 1140E phone I have to access features on the BCM such as intercom and paging Feature 630.
2-Use DISA to dial into the system from anywhere to access internal dial tone.
3-Utilize the analog line I am paying for.
4-Password for Cos
5-Stuttered DISA dialtone
6-How to use the features such as F630 once I have access, is it "Hookflash" then 630 or do you dial *630?
I have already asked a Nortel expert about the SIP trunks and he told me that SIP trunks do not allow DISA, so I might was well use this one analog line!
Can any of this be done?
I have looked at System Admin/Config guides from DR5.1 to CICS/MICS to BCM releases 1 through 5 and haven't found anything that really explains a step by step process for DISA.
Can anyone help?
Thank you,
Joe
