I recently installed a Merlin system with a dedicated phone line for remote admin access, otherwise known as DISA I believe.
The line port was configured for DISA with a barrier code. When I try to dial into the system with WinSPM my call gets answered and I hear the three beep confirmation tone. I enter the barrier code but I don't connect to the internal modem. The call ends up at the Operator Console.
My dial string from WinSPM is: 9,nnn-nnn-nnnn,,,,,barrier code.
I've also tried 9,nnn-nnn-nnnn,,,,*10,,barrier code, and 9,nnn-nnn-nnnn,,,,barrier code,,*10. All to no avail.
My question is do I need to put in the *10 as part of the dial string? I tried that but didn't work.
Any ideas?
