I have mounted a ntfs partition using a live ubuntu linux, via the root terminal provided. I wish to browse via command line but I find I cannot get into dirs with spaces in their name ie 'documents and settings'

I can view the folder in the GUI but I am unable to open it...
I do not wish to write to it but I do wish to browse and copy files.

I have sucessfully mounted ntfs partitions in red hat and browsed them using the file xwindows browser. but that is on an installed version

is there any way I can get into these dirs?

ta in advance

It should just be a matter of escaping the spaces. If you wanted to browse the Program Files directory it should be something like:

ls /<mount_point>/Program\ Files
