DirectX9 SDK Upgrade, Uninstall DirectX 9 SDK?

Hi, i recently switched from the directx8.1 SDK to the directx9 SDK, and then I downloaded and isntalled the directx9 SDK Upgrade (Summer 2003).

Since it's called an "Upgrade," I figured I could just install it without removing the original DirectX9 SDK but then it made another DXSDK in my root dir (C:\) although it's called DXSDK90 and the original is DXSDK... and everything in the original SDK is in the upgrade...

So i'm wondering if I should've uninstalled the original first before installing the upgrade?

I'm pretty sure I have both. It shouldn't give you any problems having the old files around as long as you have it set to use the headers and libraries from the summer update folder.
