I'm creating a 3d viewer using DirectX8 within Visual Basic and having some success. But some of the rendering is coming out a little Flat.
Having looked at the SDK helpfiles, it seems that altering the Renderstate constants will have an effect on the overall quality of the images produced.
I was just wondering if anyone had dabbled with these constants and would be able to spare us some advice on how to create a bit of depth.
