On my last pc build, i tried to install dx9 sdk so that i could try and rebuild a game i wrote in vb6 (long time ago:)).

I installed the sdk and ran the debug( ? ) install, openned vs.net and tried to find directx... I couldn't find the classes.

I found a way to manually copy the class & defs over to .net folder and reg'd them. after doing this i could see the classes in vs but i was getting the 'not registered' errors still.

Does anyone know why, or have a way to solved this problem?
Is there a tried/tested sdk with vb.net 2003 Std?

I looked at the dx forum on this site but there was only 2 replies in the past 6 months and lots of 0's :-(

Some how it now works???

I haven't even installed the sdk???
All i done was install the dx10 equiv. for winxp

I think that it comes with support tools for the xbox dev software, and .net can see and use this?

Don't you love windows :)
