DirectX 9.0 Problem!!!

Hi Techies,
I have downloaded the beta copy of the new DirectX 9.0. Now, my system is tooooo... slow... i think its the directX driver thats making it too slow, is there a way to return back to the previous 8.1 driver?

Note: even my cpu description from the systems folder, indicates "Half" my CPU speed only.

You could try System Restore and return to a point before the trouble.
