Diplexer Multiswitch, LNB, amplifier, splitter, CATV vs Satellite...UGH! Nothing makes sense!

Here is what I have and what I want...I only hope that there is someone out there that can point me in EXACTLY the right direction because I have had all the terms above thrown at me and they don't work!

DirecTV installed a single dish on my roof. LNB 5.

I have 6 standard receivers, one DVR receiver and one HD/DVR receiver. I have 10 outlets scattered around the house. The outlet for the HD/DVR is in the same room as one for the 'standard' outlets.

For football season, I would like to bring my 6 standard receivers (and the TVs) into this room. I want to 'split' the signal coming from the standard outlet into 6 parts, run them through 6 independent receivers to 6 independent TVs and watch 6 different channels.

I don't want to touch the HD/DVR setup at all...just standard receivers and a single output from the wall.

I have been told I need diplexers to 'multiply' the signal and multiswitches to 'direct' the signal and amplifiers to 'amplify' the signal. I tried 6 configurations already and have returned so many splitters & switches & amplifiers that the stores think I just have a shopping problem. My head is exploding!

Is there a guru out there that will tell me, in plain english, how to take a cable from the wall, connect to a "THING" and have 6 cables come out of it and into my satellite receivers???

Please help, kick off is September 7th!

Thanks!
