In ms exchange server the mail of clients is storing in which directory. can we delete some messages from there
means the user does not want some messages when he log on to his profile

Well ok, this is some basic MS Exchange stuff. There's essentially 3 databases that Exchange uses to function.

Priv.edb
Pub.edb
Dir.edb

The Priv.edb is where the emails reside for private mailboxes. Don't try messing with that file. If you want to be able to manage mailboxes, use the MS Exchange Administrator(ADMIN.EXE). I can't remember exactly where off the top of my head, since I run GroupWise, but inside you can configure mailbox size, trash auto-empty, and whatnot. Pretty cut and dry stuff. Hope this helps...
