I've got a ShoreTel IP230 in my office at work. We maintain a huge directory and use that in place of extensions - search the person or department and find their number. My extension, when I try to search, does not search by alphanumeric characters, only numeric. If I try to search the name 'Tim', I get an output of '8-444-6' on the screen which, of course, yields no results.
What do I need to change, if possible, to switch my searches to alphanumeric instead of numeric?
