Directory permissions

I have a linux server with a directory that all my users have access to read / writte. This server is running samba and all my clinets are windows based. The problem im having is that when a user goes and creates a folder or file within the main directory the rest of the users not longer can access the new file or folder.

Read this thread. Since you are Windows only, you probably want to do the steps Annihillanic suggests, this is good stuff.
