Directory Management

I'm using Mitel Networks Ops Manager v6.10. I need to add an existing user back into the directory with the moves, adds and changes editor. When I try to add it back in it says it already exists. Is there another way to added them back in?

It sounds as if your OPSMan Database and the PBX (3300?) are out of sync. It may be that the station exists on the PBX already but is not named so OPSMan has no knowledge of it. Check the PBX first.

do you have a telephone directory entry for this user?

you could add the user in the directory editor in OPS man. This will list the user in the PDG or distribution list. I assume this is what you are trying to achieve seeing that it's an existing user on a controller with no reference in the telephone directory editor

Yes, they are out of sync. I don't know how to sync them.

if you want assistance you will need to be very specific in the details. It can be very difficult to repair some synchronization issues.
What are you trying to do?
What is failing?
Does it tell you why?
What details exist/do not exist in OPSMan
What details exist/do not exist on the 3300

The more details you provide, the shorter the process.
