Hi

I have an IP Office 500V2 on 9.1.100.10.

I have a mixture of IP and digital handsets.

Handset A's user is looking in the directory and Handset B dials handset A internally, when handset A answers the call it starts dialling whoever they were stopped on in the directory.

has anyone experienced this? its happening on a site that my colleague is working on and is replicated on my test IPO.

is this a software bug?

Thanks

Nope this is a design feature.

When you are in the directory lifting the handpiece dials the number of the directory entry you are on.

When you are in the directory and receive a call it rings on A, picking up the handpiece will then dial the directory entry on B.

To answer A you would have to press the A button rather than picking up the handpiece.

Or press the phone button before answering the call with ringing line preference.

I'm clear but my fighter is down.

Or restrict the phone to 2 call appearance keys & enable busy last CA (as per nearly all systems out side of the USA)
