Director newbie needs help with searchable text

I need to be pointed towards some resources/solutions for help with having searchable text in a director movie which will end up being a resource on CD. For instance someone would type in a keyword and get a result OR as you type in the nearest result in an index comes up, maybe like in the Director Help player. thanks!
