Director control through Flash' Actionscript

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me whether 'Actionscript' recognises 'Lingo'?

I need to be able to control the Director movie with a *.swf Flash interface (Buttons, etc.).

Sure you can.
Just head over to director-online.com and search for Flash.
Also look up the help files where detailed explanation is given on how you can integrate the two.
