Can somebody tell me what this directive is doing??? Is it for Windows NT or unix?

A directive is a rule or set of rules to include, exclude, or compress a particular saveset. The documentaion on this feature has and continues to suck. But here's the general idea. Let's say I want to back up the c:\winnt directory but I want it to skip the c:\winnt\temp directory because I dont need my temp files backed up.

the directive would look like this (ALL UPPERCASE FOR NT and CaSe SpeCIfic for UNIX)

<<C:\WINNT\TEMP>>
+SKIP

then take the client and add the new directive and when the cleint is backedup, legato will skip this directory.

It looks like it is for UNIX because of the / .
This directive will be used if you back up the networker server with its directories, media database and so on.

If you want to use it for a networker server running on NT you have to change the directory path according to your system.
