Hi,
I have purchased redhat 7.2 Pro and installed it on a basic PC.
Pentium
128Meg ram
3 GB HD

I am very Unix savvy (AIX, SUN, SCO).
I do however lack knowledge in setting up webservers and this will be my platform to learn.

I believe at this point Apache is what I need to install (Actually I believe I installed it).

Any good websites to give me pointers from a beginner’s perspective?

This will initially be set up on my private LAN with future testing on the NET.

As Always we thank you for your support.
Doug

There are excellent docs that come with the apache server.
This is enough for "beginner" configuration and tweaking.
The "Apache Server Administrators Handbook." from IDG books
has some excellent info and configuration examples(even though it is dated)for more advanced things.

Hi,

As you're a 'nix person already you can find a lot of good stuff at Mr Tim O'Reilly's 'onlamp' site. Theres all manner of starter thru guru articles there -->

Regards

Thankx gang,
I will have lots of reading to do.
