I read this post @619Tech had responded to regarding setting up a Mitel 5000 to route incoming faxes to individual users on a FaxFinder 420.

Our customer has these virtual extensions setup in their FaxFinder, each associated with an email address user. Their old NEC could apparently route an incoming fax to the specified user I assume based on the incoming number. I do not know how to set that up for their new Mitel 5000. Can someone help explain this a bit more?

You will need to verify whether you have the old analog voicemail hunt group licenses option. Basic set up is like a voicemail system, set up some phantoms forwarded to this vm hunt group.

Jpruder, I don't really understand. Can you clarify a bit on what you're saying? The Mitel 250 is still pretty new to me and it seems this feature in particular may be a bit out of my realm. Any additional help you could provide me would be very appreciated.

Jprduer, do you have experience setting this up on a Mitel MiVoice 250? Could you provide assistance if I have an issues with this? Thanks for the references though.

I have done this before and it was as easy as follow the document. It has been awhile since I last did it though, what issue(s) are you having?

I will take a look at this document first and see if I can make it work. As long as incoming faxes to specific DID's will match up to the right user email on the FaxFinder, then that's all we need. I will keep you posted.
