Is it possible to do a directed recover form a Windows NT 4 registry (systemstate) with networker 6.1? I thried this, but a get an error message saying that this is not possible. How should a then recover my backup to a test server??

Hi MarcusS:

You can not do a directed recover of a Registry.

This is not a NetWorker problem. It is an NT problem. Registry is hardware dependant, meaning, it stores hardware configuration. If you are replacing just disks, no problem you can restore your registry. If you are retoring to a totally different machine you will get a nice blue screen.

Sorry and Regards
