I have a small install. 4 analog lines. 5 Ext. 1416 phones
Because of the small installation I thought I'd give Quick Mode a try. The only issue I have not figured out is Direct Voice call.
When I call a Ext Using ex. *12. I get 1 beep and the my voice is projected over Ext. 12. The only way to respond is to use the Answer soft key. What the help docs. say is if the Ext is in a group you will get 1 beep and you will not be able to repsond HF, thus Direct Page. If it is not in a group you will get 3 beeps and will be able to respond HF, thus Direct Voice Call. None of these Exts are in a Group of any kind that I can see. Also in the A-Menu,/Call Settings/Audio Path/ set to Speaker. Does anyone see what I may be missing?
Any comments on Quick Mode is such a situation?
