Two NT M1 switches, Opt11c and an Opt61, they are product testing switches not company phone switches.

We have always used COT setups with only one outside POTS line connected to one port of the universal trunk card, which is programmed as a COT. We had set up the card with only these changes from default:

LD 14

XTRK: XCOT
RTMB: 0 1
TKTP: COT
ICOG: IAO
ACOD: either 80 or 78
CLS: DTN, UNR

LD 16

TARG (no entry)

LD 11

TGAR: 0
CLS: UNR,OLA

This has worked without problems for a long time, but now we can't access the COT (POTS). The access code takes, but we don't get a second dialtone. So, you put in the access code, then can dial the rest of the outside number. However, we don't get ringback, nor hear anything on the line. The display does show the trunk timer counting.

This setup has worked before many times, not sure if somep prgoramming was lost or database became corrupt. We did a EDD and rebooted but the problem is the same.

We don't mess with ARS, or any other routing as we only have one COT port connected and can't rely on random trunk port choosing by the switch.

Anyone know what might be off here, or have some more options we can try? What about inserting deleting digit setup, does this sound like it's having a problem with that?

Also, anyone know which manual, (on cd) has the trunk setup procedure?

It was a cabling problem, it was fixed rather easily when that was determined! Haha
