Direct to voicemail problem

I'm having a problem with the feature where you can transfer a caller directly into someone's voicemail. When she hits the button, she gets the dialtone like she should, but as soon as she dials an extension, she hears the turkey tone. Any suggestions? System is Merlin Legend 7.0 and Merlin Messaging, not sure of the release. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like the exension she is trying to DVM to is not in the COVER Group.

I checked that and all of the extension are listed in the cover group. What extension is the DVM? when you press the button, it has to dial some extension to get in there, correct?

No, DVM is a feature (56) and THEN you have to dial the extension.

Make sure there's a mailbox for the extension being dialed.
