direct to vmail feature button programming

Does anyone know how to to program a direct to vmail button for our receptionist?
I don;t want it toring but rather go directly to vmail
We have Nortel ICS

You can program a button for xfer to VM by following Nam's instructions( Feature * 3, press the button to be programmed, then enter Feature 986) but the recceptionist will have to enter the extension number manually. You cannot use an autodial button after pressing the Xfer to VM button.

Feature 986 is used for when the receptionist is on a call she can trans that active call directly to an employee's mailbox, whithout their extension ringing.

If you want incoming calls to be answered use callforward to voicemail DN. Problem with this is the General delivery mailbox with pickup NOT AA. That is if the general delivery mailbox is associated with the receptionists extension.
