Can anyone help?

What is the Mac equivalent of Direct Media for the PC?

We have created a Director programme that uses Direct Media for Mpeg playback. Having tried to transfer it to the Mac we are getting an error message saying that the applicaion requires a Direct Media Xtra.

Many thanks in advance for any advice anyone might be able to offer.
