direct line is not forward to voice mail

Hello,

Here is the case, when people call to the direct line, the direct line does not forward to voice mail when nobody answer. However, if the person call the mail number and then dial the extension, then the voice mail picks it up.

What I can do to fix this?

I have NVM Manager 4.0 with Modular ICS 4.0.

what kind of line is this alleged direct line...how is it comming into system ...how many phones is it ringing on is it AA or vm...if you cant answer please call your vendor ...also its a nam 4.0 what release a,b,c,d,e.....also 4.0 on ksu is real buggy should have been replaced 3-4 years ago..nortel had a recall it was that bad...systems would just hose up and not come back....

Perhaps the Forward no Answer is not set to go to the VM DN after a specified number of rings. Calling the DN from the VM will go to the mailbox after the Transfer Callback ring setting,(the mail is actually transferring the call) but calling the DN directly will just ring if Forward No Answer is set to None. Check Fwd no Ans under Capabilities for the set in question
