Hi to ALL,

Happy new year :)

I am experiencing some problem regarding with my OPENSCAPE XPRESSIONS V7 connected to OPESNCAPE 4000 V7.
Whenever I try to call my ISDN trunks or Analog trunks which is routed to XPRESSIONS. Then dial a station (which is 4 digit) there's an instances that the number that I dialed is not being processed. Worst is whenever I tried to dial it again. The numbers are being combined with the first one that I've dialed. E.g. When i dial 6339 and didnt recognized, when I dial it again it becomes 9633 which is not existing on my WABE. And this is from what I saw from the XPR MONITOR. And much worser is that for the 2nd try also there's a time that the number that I dialed is got RUMBLED to first number that I dialed. Which result to a incorrect dialed station. That's why some of my users are complaining regarding with receiving of calls which is not for them.

I know this is kinda complicated but I hope some of here will help me again :)

Hi
Happy New Year
Please can you explain a bit more.
Have you done any traces.
Is the call an internal or external call.
What is the LODR going to XPR

Hi Sbcsu,

This happens on Incoming-external calls only which is routed on the XPR. I haven't done any traces yet.

Its really complicated and weird. The XPR is more likely not recognizing the number that I've dialed but not at all times. And then if you try again to dial the number. the last digit of the first station that I've dialed will be combined to the First 3 digits of the station that I've dialed for the 2nd time. So for example if I dial "6339" and the XPR will not recognized, when I dial it again it will be like this "9633". And as I said on the 1st thread, there's a time also that when I try again to dial for the 2nd time. It rumbles to the First numbers that I dialed.

For the LODR:
+--------+----------------------------------------------+
| ODR POSITION CMD PARAMETER |
+--------+----------------------------------------------+
| 206 | 1 ECHO 1 |
| | 2 ECHO 2 |
| | 3 END |
+--------+----------------------------------------------+

And incase you need the ldat>LROUTE

+------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| LROUTE = 507 NAME = XPRESSION SERVICE = VCE |
| TYPE = NWLCR DNNO OF ROUTE = 250 |
| SERVICE INFO = |
+------+-----+-----+----+-----+----------+-----------+----------+------+-------+
| | | | | | SCHEDULE | CARRIER | | | |
|LRTEL | LVAL|TGRP | ODR|LAUTH| ABCDEFGH | ZONE| LATTR | LDSRT|COTIDX |
+------+-----+-----+----+-----+----------+-----------+----------+------+-------+
| 1| 1| 507| 206| 1 | ******** | 1 EMPTY| WCHREG | | 0 |
| | DNNO = 250 |
| +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| | GW1 = 871-0 GW2 = GW3 = |
| | GW4 = GW5 = |
+------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

I'm trying to consider also the HOTFIX on the XPR. But I don't know if where can I find the hotfix for this and the instructions for loading also the hotfix.

Thank you very much

Hi SBCSU,

We've now pinpoint whats the problem on our end. I load the HOTFIX Spec_LW_V7 R0.12.3. I've already did as what the NOTES told to do. Unzip the files and drag-drop the following files thru COMWIN-FT. But it seems like the it is not upgrading to R0.12.3. It still stuck up on R0.12.2..

Is there an alternative way to load it? or if you have details steps on how to load it please help :)
thank you very much,

Best,
Hertz

Hi,
Loadware is for the individual cards. The cards that had new loadware may need to be restarted.
Check in the Assistant/Expert Mode/Gateway Manager - In there you can see the current loadware and the loadware that is available on the disk due to your uploading via Comwin.

To update your system you would also need some or all of these
RMX Patch Packets
dot Tar Unix hot fixes
CSTA fixes
Platform hot fixes

Hi Sbcsu

Is this an alternative way of loading also the file I got from SWS in the Gateway Manager? Because I can a "transfer and activate LW"

Thanks

Hertz

Hi,
Yes this is an alternative way of transferring the new loadware from the hard disk to the cards.
However you still have to transfer the loadware in the usual Comwin way from your PC to the HiPath

It only covers loadware to cards nothing else like patches etc.

Hi Sbcsu,

That's great man thanks.
Also do you know how to execute the command to see if there's a changes on the loadware?
I got a copy from Readme.txt and it is stating like this,

Well normally you can just use the Assistant/Expert Mode/Gateway Manager as it shows it in a nicer format
but you can put in this command:
To see all loadwares in use
STA-LIST:FILENAME=":pAS:HIM/PB",FORMAT=M,SEL=N,ANS=Y;

DECT SLC24
To determine loadware:
sta-list:":A1H1E:apsp/ltg/lg93/pzdslc25",,80,t;

STMI
To determine loadware:
STA-LIST:":pDS:APSP/LTG/LG98/PZKSTI40",,80,T;
