Hi All,

I've had a request from a high tech customer. It goes a little like this:

Customer updates their server clock from a nuclear clock in Calgary. The CICS is always a little out of time with their server. Q: Can the CICS be updated by the server in any way?

Cheers

If they CLID, you can set it up to auto update the time, but the phone companys time is probably not in sequence with the server.

bkrike,

I had some nutso notion that their server could dial to the CICS and send the same info the Telco does. But these guys know the operating system for the CICS is Unix-ish (I think) and they want to look for a direct soft feed. Wonder if a CTI could do this? I'll have to look. Perhaps Voice Gate might. Hmm.
