Direct Connect connects, but can't find remote files

I'm trying to set up a direct connection between an XP computer and Win98 computer using a parallel cable between the parallel ports.

I can make the connection. Its just that once the connection is made, I can't figure out how to transfer the files. I've set up a shared folder on the host computer, but when I connect with the other computer, there is no sign of that folder. I'm guessing that I'm just not finding it - where would I look?

Or is there another issue I need to deal with
