I am trying to connect Windows 98SE and Windows 2000 using the Direct cable connection (parallel) I am trying to access the information on the Windows 98SE. But windows 2000 (profissional workstation) keeps asking me for a user name password and domain. Normally when I connect win98 to win98 it asks just for the domain (or computer name) How can I access the information on win98???

Thanks

OK I figured out that I had to install IPX/IP and one other protocol on both computers. But it's still giving me a problem with the User/Password/Domain. Sombody told me that I need to enter whatever my windows 98 login/password is. But I don't have one. Or where can I find this function in windows 98?? [sig][/sig]

ALL DONE! I figured out that once I connect, I have to click on MAP DRIVE by right clicking on My Computer and entering the Host's computer name (eg //Windo98/C/) The only problem is that it says it connected at 4 MBPS but when transfering files, I only get a speed of .100 MBPS Can anyone help with this????
