Howdy All --
From within the GUI / Explorer, if I'm looking at a list of folders/directories, is there any way to display the total size of that folder including all subdirectories and files?
What about from the command line, either through DIR or maybe some trick in Powershell ? Essentially I'm looking for something similar to du on linux.
I'm moving my departmental shares and user home directories to Windows 2008 over the weekend and would really like to find a better way to monitor space usage by department and user than right clicking and getting properites on every account or parsing dir /s in something like Monarch.
