Good morning gang! :)
Configuring a BCM 200 with (2)4x16 MBM's; trying to make sure I have the DIP settings correct. 1st MBM is all switches ON (DS30 bus2 (0)offset); as I understand it, the MBM will use all of bus 2 and 1/2 of bus 3, So should the second 4x16 be set to (DS30 bus3 (2)offset)? Or does it get set to (DS30 bus4 (0)offset)? I would think the former, not the latter, but I want to make sure...
Andy

the second needs to be set for Bus 4. You could add a DSM16+ to bus 3 offset 2 if you want later, but not a 4X16.

Thanks MagnaRGP! I wasn't sure if we could overlap using the 4x16 or not; our current MICS has DN's from 221-252; will that still be the case with the BCM?

You can renumber the sets as you see fit to match your MICS. You could also take the time to portmap the MICS and match it up to the BCM for simplicity in install later.

However you see fit.

Excellent thought! I kinda figured thay could be renumbered, I just wasn't real sure about how 'final' the dip switch setting are. I will look into portmapping the MICS and post again if I get into trouble.
Thanks for the insight!
Andy
