DIOD trunks on BCM50

I have a customer that wants to have DIOD trunks delivered via channels off a T1 into a DTM on a BCM50 R2. Can the channels be configured as DIOD in the BCM or do they have to be DID or DOD?

THe situation is I want to have Verizon DIOD trunks delivered via T1 to a DTM module on a BCM50. I know the options on the channel config in the BCM allow me to do DID or DOD but not DIOD(or so I thought). If I understand cook1082, he's saying if I configure the channels as E&M, then I can perform the DIOD function on those channels that are configured as DIOD on the CO side.

cook thanks for the response. If I config the channels as E&M on the BCM is there anything special I need to order from Verizon other than DIOD?
