Hi !!!

My case:
--------
I have MicroStrategy Desktop and my database is IBM DB2 (AS/400).

I load data to database, then I run MicroStrategy Desktop, but Dynamic Selections don't show to me the new data...

My solution:
------------

Stop MicroStrategy Intelligence Server and then run it for to recognize data

PLEASE HELP ME...

What's the BIG PROBLEM...!!!

THANKS A LOT

do you have your MSTR Project in three tier? If so, you may have to purge the cache for your reports.

WOW... really your tip did help me too much...

only 1 consideration did happen to me:

- the data don't refresh itself immediately:

First, I close the project and then I open it for seeing new data...

I'm not sure what the tone of your last message was AlexHarley666 -- hopefully it was not sarcastic. In fact I had trouble telling whether your first post was a question or not.

dinzana is correct to point out that you appear to be polling the cache when you are running your report in three tier. There are three basic types of cache: report, element, and object. Refer to the manual and delete each of these. Otherwise, use the 2-tier project to access the data, and if the data is still not refreshed then check your ODBC connection. The only logical conclusion if your problem persists in 2-tier is that your ODBC connection is pointing to the wrong DB.

@CHAEL... I was not sarcastic...

I send to you and to dinzana, my gratefulness

@dinzana: I did try your solution... and really that was a great solution for me.... THANKS YOU VERY MUCH!!!
