Hi,

I am trying to create a cube that does the following...

First, I have nested the measures so more than 1 can be seen at once.....

If the user chooses a certain element in a dimension then I would like only 3 of the 9 measures to show up on the cube. Then if the user chooses a different element in that same dimension, then 3 other measures to show up.

For example: If there is a dimension titled Read Type, and the elements under that are: Amps and Volts. Then there are 6 measures...but 3 go with one, and 3 go with the other...how can I only get the three to show up when the user chooses one of the elements?

PLEASE HELP.

I think what you nned to do, If I understand the question....

create a manual hierarchy in transformer by dragging and dropping within the dimension viewer.

For example, create two manual levels called amps and volts respectively and then pull the applicable values underneath these categories.

If this isn't clear look in the help under 'Manual Categories'

Hope this is what you want.

Cheers,

Adam.
