I am working with a customer who has an old Comdial system and currently their auto attendant will pick up an incoming call, park it and generate a canned page over the external paging system notifying the user which call park code to pick up in order to retrieve the call. Wondering if that is possible on the Switchvox and how it might be programmed? if there is an API for this, does anyone have a recommendation?
 
Not sure if this is too late or if you found a workaround, but we use the IVR's to create "scripts" for instances like this. The one thing that may be tricky is when the system replies back the orbit number it chose, if that can be assigned to a variable to be used later in the IVR.
