Digits are entered twice before call connects

I seem to have a problem with two connections on my G3R. I have a trunk group connected to a dimetra system (mobile radio) and another connected to a 3845 router. The VOIP numbers can call the mobile radio numbers and is connected immediately. However, when calling the voip numbers from the mobile radio, the call doesn't connect. You first hear another tone, however when you dial the same digits again, the calls go through and connects. What could be the problem?
The mobile radio and the G3r do not have problems calling eahc other.
