One of my users has a DVR that worked about a month ago. The device is an Olympus VN-2100.
Recently he reconnected the device and the driver told him that there was an error (Access is denied) when it reloaded.
I uninstalled everything, rebooted and reinstalled from the original CD. We still receive the same error message.
I've been to Olympus' website for possibly a new driver but only found software updates. I ran these (just in case a new driver was included), but still no luck.
My next step is to find any Windows updates and uninstall them. Perhaps one of them corrupts the driver??
FYI the user is on a Windows XP SP2 machine. He says that he has not loaded anything new since his last use.
